Opening times quite poor September 2017?

Another one it doesn't bother! We usually do rope drop, tour till 1/2pm, rest or swim back at hotel then back in parks for dinner etc till around 8/9pm. We're usually too knackered for late night touring

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's not bothered about late opening. 8.00/9.00 is fine for me.

Disney adjusts it's hours to reflect their crowds predictions. We have gone several times with short hours and low crowds. Much more enjoyable than longer hours (past my bedtime anyway) and bigger crowds. Go. Enjoy. And if can make it from opening to closing kudos for you. It's a long busy day and Florida is usually still hot and humid in September.

MK is the only park that closes at 7pm in Sept (usually) and that is only on nights with Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Typically when MK closes for MNSSHP there is another park that is open later.

I guess one of the downfalls of Sept is shorter park hours, but the lower crowds should help offset the reduced park time.

But this summer the parks were really busy so it was quite short hours and heavy crowds. It's not really about staying from opening til closing, I don't think many people would manage that but when it's so hot it's good to be able to visit the parks at night when it's a bit cooler.
