I'm curious did you book direct with Disney or via a TA? Although it seems like the problem is on Disneys end either way.

Have a wonderful holiday! And maybe drop Disney an email saying how this ruined your first night and they might come good...

Anyway rubbish first day but now time to enjoy ourselves.
Very irritating I agree. It shouldn’t happen. But these things do happen and Disney are always going to sort them out. I wouldn’t have spent all that time waiting personally definitely not worth feeling a first day is rubbish for something that was always going to be resolved eventually?

I booked directly with Disney UK and added the QS dining plan about 3 weeks before arriving. The Cast Member said it was happening to both UK and US guests. It's pop luck lol.

Halfway through our September trip all the TS credits vanished, Disney could still see them and they worked they just didn't show on the app although QS and snack credits did.
I really wish Disney would invest some serious money in the MDE so it works as it should as the concept is great.

I agree absolutely. The concept is fantastic but definitely needs "tweaking" done.

Trouble is there is SO MUCH on the MDE app now its bound to happen, the more you have the more chance something will go wrong...

Nonsense
You don't release an app that doesn't work properly especially if you have an expectation your customers will need to use it at least several times a day.
You wouldn't buy a car and say it is OK indicators don't work sometimes because the car has so many other functions. You ensure all works all of the time, not just periodically

It's simply under funded software.

Then they shouldn’t offer it. They’re offering a service, if it’s not functioning shouldn’t be offered.

Disney is a big enough and wealthy enough company to invest in IT that works. ADRs and FPS are a prime example. 60 day mark and MDE not functioning so unable to make FPs for the days you need then you have dissatisfied customers. If a company like Disney are going to make everyone use technology to book rides, restaurants, events, which less face it they are forcing us to do, the least they can do is invest in the technology
