What milk do you give your toddler in the US?

Friends are going to Florida in a couple of weeks with their 19 month son and are concerned about which cows milk to give him, as they've heard that it tastes sweeter over there. He doesn't drink formula anymore, so were unsure what to do.

I have never noticed any difference in the taste and would presume you would just choose 4% milk, as that's the same as whole milk over here. But I've never traveled with kids that age, so have never had to think about it.

We use whole milk, same as at home. Our eldest only drinks milk and water, and we've never had any issue with her refusing milk at home after being in the US.

As above, the usual 4% whole milk is just fine. Tastes the same

Agree, milk just tastes the same although be careful with the bottles. I picked up a bottle when we were there a few weeks ago only to find it was eggnog! Now that would have been interesting on my daughters lucky charms cereal!
