Virgin PE Upgrade prices?
I'm currently being quoted £2664 to upgrade three of us both ways next September.
What kind of price is a good "trigger" price for an upgrade? I quite fancy under £1k, but will that happen? |

For me Virgin PE is worth around £100 each way. I wouldn't pay more. So for three people return I think what you are being quotes is madness. For me - £600 is a decent price for three.
However, it does depend on what you paid for your economy tickets. |

I think what you been quoted is far to much. Yes its good but not at that price. When we went in 2015 we got a quote both ways which was high then asked for the split price between them both we found the outbound trip was much higher while the return journey was much cheaper so we ended up doing economy on way out and PE on way back it worked well as we bought could have another case on for know additional charge and I slept like a baby on way back and I never sleep on planes

So I was looking to upgrade for next September too. Managed to nab return journey at £175 which I went for but outbound is coming up at £600. I would think its the outbound forcing the issue.

We’ve always managed to get PE for around £200 more than the economy price. Sometimes we’ve upgraded each leg separately and just waited until the price is right.

I’ve been asking for quotes for next November, at the moment they want anywhere from £1100-£1800 for 2 adults, I don’t think so. I was told to call back 24 December as that’s when the flight is released.
