As a kid I was just happy to sit down, get a drink and maybe get some shade if we were lucky enough to get the sweet spot between the spash zone under blazing sun and the far rear where you need binoculars!

I'm interested to see the new enclosures they are going to be making. Should be a reason to go back in 2019+!

Nobody can justify Killer Whales being held in tanks the size of shoe boxes.

It is not right and never will be.

A picture says a thousand words of the Carpark vs Orca Tanks.

What do you think is paying for the upkeep of the animals/all of the rescue work/education work that Sea World do?

Totally agree with this, when we went last year we made a conscious decision not to visit SW or DC. I would "potentially" visit DC if we went back again but I certainly would not be swimming with the dolphins. I think its cruel x

Good news. I think this was inevitable really considering the strength of public opinion.

I reckon when the whales jump out the pool and look at us humans clapping, they are thinking look at those poor saps, working 60 hour weeks in jobs they hate, earning barely enough money to eat and paying most of it out to live in a concrete box, then saving whats left to come and sit in 95 degree heat watching us jump out of the water, while we just lazy around all day getting fed lovely fresh fish, suckers!
