Split stayband Magic Bands
We have one night (room only) booked at AoA and the next 13 nights (room and ticket) at OKW. On the second day when we want to activate our tickets, can we go straight from AoA to a park or do we have to go via OKW to activate our tickets?

Your tickets are activated (via your Magic bands)when you put them on the reader at the tapstiles at a park for the very first time. They have nothing to with where you are staying on site.

Unless you have declined them, you will also have 2 sets of MB.

As Geoff says, the tickets are activated the first time you use them to enter a park, not when you check in. This applies whether you scan a plastic card or a MagicBand. So you don't have to go via OKW.
BTW, on that second day, if you've checked out of AoA and not yet checked in to OKW then you won't be able to charge items to your room. Just thought I'd mention it.

the stay at AoA is a room only
if the stay at OKW is a UK package, then it might matter wether OP has checked in or not at OKW if the tickets and accomodation are separate (room only + standalone tickets), then right, they have nothing to do with one another. but there has been issues with UK packages requiring check in, even though it was a couple of years ago and it might no longer be the case. Dining credits might also not be available until physical, but more recent first hand experience is required, because the purpose of the MDX is to get rid of the physical stuff, so that should work (now that's disney IT and *should* should be written in red in 72px bolded font I would suggest OP did at least Online Check in at OKW |

Thank. Guess I need to contact Disney to see if we need to do to OKW before the parks.
