:) Advice for WDW end May 2020?

Dear Dibbers - looking for advice/reassurance please. Just returned a couple of weeks ago from 2 weeks onsite ASMu. Also stayed at US for folp and also DC, Seaworld. Used Touring Plans and fast passes to do practically do everything.

Can't wait to go back but tied to school holidays - so looking at 2020, perhaps last 2 weeks of May. I know it's Memorial Day weekend but will avoid parks, do other things etc I'm expecting the 2nd week to be busy -

is it too busy end of May or still better than April?
any ideas about impact of Star wars on parks/prices?
would another school holiday time be better for any reason?

I loved October but can't wait 2 years!

Thanks for your help. The DIBB was invaluable for planning our holiday this year.

Regarding April, it depends when you mean in April? If you mean just before Easter then May will be quieter. However, the end of April tends to be a quieter time of year and it will be quieter than the end of May.

"Too busy" is subjective. It's not crazy busy but the very end of May tends to get a bit busy as US schools start to break up or go on school trips.

The end of May is also the beginning of the rainy season, so sometimes (but not always!) it can be a bit wet.

Hollywood Studios will no doubt be busier, although by May the initial rush should have died down a bit. The other parks will be slightly busier than previous years but not significantly so.

The price for 2020 tickets has not been set yet. They will no doubt be more expensive than 2019 tickets - ticket prices almost always go up. It would be a complete guess to say how much they will increase by.

The October/November half term?

February half term is also a reasonable time to go, although watch out for Presidents Day. But I think most schools only have one week off during half term.

mmm...Easter would have to be school holidays.

Starting to think may forget 2020 all together and go for October 2019, although wasn't planning to go again so soon. And if we go again after that it will be 2021 when it's hopefully died down a bit. The star Wars thing is worrying me.
