Sorry to hear your news & hoping your health improves soon.

I had to cancel my March holiday as I was having treatment ( breast cancer) at the time & couldn’t get insurance until I finished treatment. I finished Rads last week so just on tablets now. I rang my Insurer All Clear & got a new annual Worldwide policy ( I’m 67) for £444, which I thought was really good, considering I have other health issues as well. They were really helpful, offering several options. Maybe worth trying if you haven’t already? Good luck with everything. X

Geoff, I am so sorry to read you are having to face this. You will be missed from the Dibbcast. Grit your teeth and get through it. Sorry to read your update today. I was diagnosed with cancer 12 years ago now and had to cancel our much longed for trip to Australia. It was three years before we finally made the trip but I appreciated it all the more.

I hope you can sort the insurance out (I had two years of various treatments and didn't go away anywhere until finished). I wish you all the best.

I’m so sorry to hear your news Geoff. I don’t know what kind of stoma you have but IA Support helped me a lot when I had a temporary one.
