Transatlantic cost?
Hi all,
I've been absent from the dibb for quite a while but last night dh said he was open to the idea of a trip to Florida in a few years time with a transatlantic cruise home, squeeeee exciting! I want to get a very rough guide of cost so we can start saving , so looked on the website for next year's May cruise which is approx £5k for a family cabin with verandah. however i think I remember that the cruises are generally the best price when they are first released so wondering if that price might be less if I get in the when they are released for the year we want? Roughly what have people paid in the past? (I know there are tons of variables, I'm just trying to get a rough idea of how many thousands...) Thank you! |

2017 on opening day for cat 5 which I think is what you are looking at was around $6000 for two adults from looking on another firm. They came out in March/April so haven't been out a long long time.
Also bare in mind one way to the US can be a bit costly so you need to look at thus too.

Hi we priced a standard inside for a family of 4 on opening day and the price hasn't changed at all for next May transatlantic. Usually you do get the deal on opening day, however a budget of £5k for a verandah I think is pretty realistic. There is a website that gives a price tracker for Disney cruises which would be handy but I can't remember the name of it sorry, I'm sure another dibber will be able to help. But totally do it we had the best time ever (and we didn't think we could top Orlando!)
