Car hire after a cruise - Miami

Hi
A few years ago we dropped our hire car at Miami airport before a cruise and got a free shuttle to the cruise port.
This year I want to hire a car for the day when we get off the cruise so was hoping we could catch the shuttle back to the airport to pick up a car for the day. Just phoned Alamo and was told no they don't run shuttle between airport and port.
Does anybody know if the lady was correct or has anybody used the shuttle recently and can confirm?

We used the shuttle back in September, we just gave our confirmation number and were allowed on the bus. We couldn't find any definitive information beforehand, so planned on a taxi as a backup. But it was all fine!

Sorry can't remember what car hire company we used last year but we certainly used the shuttle bus.

Thanks for replies. She answered with a no so quickly that I wondered how she just happened to know about the Miami shuttle when I just phoned a general Alamo help number!
Think we will chance it and use a taxi if necessary.

Just to confirm that there is defo an Alamo shuttle bus from the port to Miami airport..we only took it last month! We came out of the immigration area..,.im sure we crossed the road and were directed to the bus (tbh you could see it anyway)It clearly has Alamo on the side... just check with the driver he is going to the airport..we just showed him our paperwork..no problem at all. You get dropped off right outside...walk in the terminal and the Alamo desks are more or less in front of you..then after checking in... down some escalators to pick your car up. Thanks. I ended up emailing the online support too and just received email confirming the free shuttle. I thought the lady on the phone was too quick to say no!
