We are going on the NCL Sky in September for our 1st cruise. Can anybody tell me please what clothes people wear on this ship in an evening? Is it formal dress or very casual. I am of the opinion it is different to other cruise's.

NCL describe their onboard experience as 'freestyle' - there are no formal nights. Evenings are 'smart casual' - for men that means polo or shirt with trousers or jeans. You may find some wearing smart tailored shorts with appropriate footwear - no flip flops.
In the buffet - pretty much anything, as long as you are covered!

Friends of ours were on the NCL Sky back in May, they did an Alaskan cruise. They said it was very casual. There was every type of dress from very casual, shorts etc to full formal.
