Wealso did this, and lost out quite significantly. The exchange rate used was not the same both ways, and a transaction fee came into it somewhere.

You might get a surprise when the bill comes in.

Nope, all we lost was £1.30, no transaction fee, they took £632.30 out and put £631 back on due to exchange rate, I suppose it depends on the Credit Card used?
