If you booked and paid your deposit with the dining plan included whether it was “free” or not you booked that deal and confirmed it by paying your deposit
I’m suprised that Disney can remove this on confirmed bookings
I suppose they have the best lawyers

The one that was in my head was when a kitchen company says “buy from us and we’ll throw in all the appliances.” That’s a standard marketing method. Imagine if the company then said “actually we’ve decided you’re not getting the appliances after all but the order stands”

I wouldn't say removing it is unreasonable. They are plenty of people who book a stay at a Disney hotel and pay rack rate without the free dining. Clearly, people who did have free dining are very unhappy with its removal, which is understandable (I am one of them). Mind you, people get unhappy about a lot of things. That doesn't mean they are entitled to anything to replace that free booking incentive.

I would like a discount to make up for the lack of free dining. I do not feel entitled to receive a discount for the lack of free dining.
Sorry Nimbus, you and I are going to have to agree to disagree here. Free dining has a significant monetary value and we all know Disney use it with multiple markets as an incentive to book. To me it’s no different than free nights or a room discount. As someone said, you wouldn’t expect them to suddenly turn round and say you had to pay for the free nights or the full price for the room. It’s a package where the dining plan part has been discounted to £0.

It crazy to me that people think it's perfectly reasonable to change your booking terms without giving the full information even if its sod you we don't get two hoots about uk customers at least it would have been an answer

What about people who had no choice but to cancel in March and April who had the free dining and a gift card.
My new flights are booked but as yet I have no accommodation because I keep being told to wait.
Just getting worried if accommodation won’t be available when I need to book.

That would be us, 15 nights OKW with free dining and $300 giftcard.
We had no choice, we just got our money back.

Would love to book asap for 2021 with free dining!
