Lunch At Sci Fi Diner Today
This is my favourite Disney restaurant I never tire of the appallingly bad film clips. This is the outside. If there are people sitting on the wall waiting outside then you have almost no chance of a walk-up. We always get an ADR just to be sure There is a car outside to take some pics he you want. Sometimes there is a Disney photographer here The entryway is rather cramped as you can see. If you have somebody in a wheelchair or scooter they are best to wait outside until your parking space is called Inside it is DARK. There are loads of cars all facing the same way Most of the cars seat 6 in three rows of two. Remember this if your party is an odd number. They do have tables in a few of the cars you can ask for one of these but the experience isn't quite the same as only one side of a normal table faces the screen. We were given a back row. There are also a few cafe tables at the back if you can't manage the car seats This is the view of the screen. You can see it well wherever you are sat. The movie clips are hysterical. Well I think so. Eating at a normal speed two courses you will get to see them all twice. That's the only shame, that they didn't make the sequence longer Like I said it's dark. You get this little light on your dashboard but it isn't much good. I don't know how people read the menu before mobile phone lights became available! We both had the Sci Fi Special burger. I think it's the best burger on site. It comes with coleslaw, pulled pork in bbq sauce and cheese on top. Decent proper chips (not those skinny McDonalds type ones) or pickled cucumber salad. Dessert. Mom had turtle cheesecake it is a Dome shape covered in nuts, rice crispies and caramel. Very rich and sticky but very nice I had the candy bar. A bit like a very soft Mars Bar with dark chocolate. It was so nice I ate it all which is rare for me I don't usually eat dessert When your check comes it has 'speeding ticket' stamped across it. We eat here every single trip. Lots of people say the food isn't great but I think it is. Hope you liked my report! |

Agree - fab burgers here - going back this year - the Oreo milkshakes are fab - but on DDP you don't get a refill, and it's like a desert too!
Nice review OP |

Oh the milkshakes. I had one last year because all the Dibb rates about them and I thought it was, frankly, vile. Really sweet and thick and I hated it.
