I was enjoying it but my 4-year-old lost her attention around 30 minutes in so we haven't finished it yet. She's normally perfectly capable of watching an entire movie in one sitting without getting bored and wandering off - think Frozen, Toy Story, Tangled, Moana, etc etc. This one didn't seem to do it for her, though I definitely was enjoying it myself enough to have kept watching if it wasn't for her!

Massimo reminded me of the dad in La Luna. Now I know why!

I though Luca was quite a sweet, long short. Nice and colourful.

I do wonder if there would be an uproar if a character was nicknamed Chubby in a Pixar film. Ciccio is Italian for chubby. It did make me raise my eyebrows when I heard it but I won't be complaining or anything. Just an observation.

I would have liked it if they had used the Italian names for family members (mum/dad/grandma/uncle). As they are used in Coco. I'm biased though as I am Nonna to my grandsons and would have been tickled for the boys to hear that name on the Disney channel 😂

Saw it yesterday and thought it was worth the watch! Wouldn’t rush back or put it down as one of the best, but definitely worth trying!
