The end of August and into September heat and humidity wasn't for me,I found it so draining and could easily have spent the whole holiday in the pool.😳

I went in August once and said never again 😅🥵 although I’d take it if it was my only option right now!

The thing about Florida and other tropical countries with high humidity is there is air con everywhere! It’s not so bad if you can cool off inside or in a pool 😀

We have been in Dec, Feb, Sep, Oct previously but for the last few years always go in August due to school hols and being able to do 3 weeks. Whilst it is more comfortable at other times of the year, August isn't so terrible. It is humid - my hair goes nuts! I have to grow it a bit so its long enough to tie back out of the way. But unlike here, as others say they are so used to it there and are prepared, so villas and hotels with air con so you can sleep well, lots of shops and restaurants with air con to nip in and out of and even the outdoor ride queues they try to provide a bit of cover and often some overhead fans. We went to Friendsfest in Bristol on Thursday and we kept comparing it to Florida. It was 28 degrees i think and we were melting, properly soaking with sweat. The outdoors was hot, the indoor tents/units and attractions were even hotter. i think one tent had one fan in it. That was it. We last about two hours and kept saying at least in Florida you queue up and then get treated to some aircon. As long as you pace yourself, you'll be fine.

We did 3 weeks in August - yes it’s hot. Humid hot but unlike the UK everywhere is air conditioned.

It’s super hot and humid but we really enjoy it!
We are going the last two weeks of August again this year.
Start off in the morning and head back in the afternoon. Use the shops to cool down too.
We found the water parks prefect for the heat and enjoyed them more because when coming out of the water, you aren’t standing there freezing because you’re wet - water parks are out fave and the heat helps them become more enjoyable.

If you decide to go for it my recommendations are climacool tops, cooling towels that you can keep cooling with a dip under water fountains, cardigan or light wrap for evenings in air conditioned restaurants and lots of fluid. My hubby doesn’t like it too hot but the right clothing really does help and make it manageable. Normally get afternoon shower in august too.

I've only been in March - pleasant perfect weather - or end May first week June - 30-35 every day - the odd thunderstorm over in 15 mins. It was hot but not so humid / muggy. Got used to it after a day or so - plus afternoons in the pool help

We always go in August due to being tied to school holidays.
It's boiling, but like everyone else has said, everywhere is air conditioned. We find the cooling towels amazing and really helped. Just have to keep hydrated, plan your days with air con/pool breaks, enjoy the afternoon rain and you'll have a great time.
Only thing for me is my hair. It's like Monica's from friends in the heat/humidity. It looks great for about 3 seconds after leaving the hotel room, and then bam.

We've been twice in August and I can agree with the comments about the humidity! Most days when I went outside for the first time my glasses would steam up and if you've ever been in the butterfly house at Twycross Zoo in summer it is like that!

If there is a breeze it isn't so bad, but we always found Animal Kingdom sweltering because it felt quite enclosed and never felt a breeze. Walking around the World Showcase was hard work because there isn't much shade unless you go into lots of shops.

You do get used to it after a couple of days but we spent more time in shops that we would have done normally just for some air con respite and a lot of time in the Dumbo play area

My hair is the same (or was) I get regular Keratin and it’s changed my life.
