Animal kingdom and Genie plus

We thought we would try using genie plus with an afternoon trip to see if it worked better. I think it did.

Had a bit of a lie in and booked genie plus at 7.40

First ride was for navi river at 1.55

In between these We did festival of the lion king and then the bird show (feathered something - much better now they've removed the UP bit)

At 11am we booked the safari for 3.55

At 1pm we booked dinosaur for 4pm

At 3pm I booked it's a bugs life

We watched kite tails too which was terrible to be honest

We had a drink and a rummage around the shops and watched the 6.15 showing on the tree of life and left to pick up our take away from Sanaa (yum)

Baring in mind I struggle to stand for too long I thought this worked out ok. Trying this with magic kingdom for today.

Good use of stacking. Which Kite Tails did you see? I got Lion King and liked it. Not for the show itself which still looks like it cost $10 at Walmart to produce, but the jet ski operators were really getting into crashing the kites which made it funny.

Sounds like afternoon stacking worked well for you, and this is a way we might consider using it if it's busy enough when we're there to warrant buying it. Out of interest, what were the standby times like when you went for your LL?

I've not heard a single good thing about Kite Tails. Sooner they replace that with a quality show, the better!

Hope you have a good day in MK

From memory the standby lines were 70 mins for navi

40 for safari

Bug was 30
Dinosaur was 35

Kite tails was the jungle book one. I did say to DH that that would be a good job to have. Riding jet skis around and flying kites!

Wow, it sounds quite busy for early December if Bug has a 30 minute standby!

I hope you're still managing to have a good time, and that the testing before flying home hasn't affected things too much.

How did you manage the bigger rides like FOP and Everest? How long were the queues

While I don't ride these, I never saw a long queue for Everest when I was there. Right now FOP and Navi are both a posted 75, Dinosaur and Safari are both 45 while Everest is only 20. It honestly makes no sense as the second ILLS attraction, not worth paying for.

FOP is still an easy rope drop, since AK often opens at 8am and the crowds aren't that big compared to a later opening park.
