New Woody Rooms...

I really can't make up my mind if I should go or not. I was leaning towards not going the other day but now am changing my mind again ha ha.

I was just browsing the Disney website and came across the new Woody themed rooms at Cheyenne.

They do actually look quite good in the pics, but then the pics are designed to make it look good aren't they.

Have any of you stayed in them and what are your opinions on the rooms. We were due to stay lake side at Sequoia but with the price difference it would save the cost of the tests...

They are a few years old now! They’re fine. Cheyenne is a decent resort and I would happily stay there again. Only a 15 minute walk from the parks and it’s a nice stroll along the river.

Lots of videos on YouTube - check them out.

I never pay extra for rooms near the main building - you are talking 2 min difference and if you are further from the main building you are nearer the parks.

We have stayed at both & unless I got a decent price for Club at Sequoia, I would just go for whatever is cheapest. As Gill said, don’t bother paying extra for location at Cheyenne, it’s not that big and as it’s so well themed it’s lovely to walk through.

We’ve stayed there & loved it! It’s like a cowboy town with different blocks. The rooms are so lovely, & our family are huge toy story fans so we loved the woody, Jesse & bullseye theme.
We’re staying in Santa Fe this time as we’ve never stayed there & it looks so lovely as well.

I wouldn’t exactly call Santa Fe ‘lovely’ but if you have Cars fans the room theming is great. The resort is fine, the restaurant is OK and I’d stay there again.

Yeah we have a cars fan too so delighted with the rooms & love that bathroom mirror!
We’ve stayed multiple times in every other DLP hotels but we never fancied SF. But since the refurb being cars themed we wanted to try it, we also got an absolute bargain for 3 of us so would of been rude not to!

We've stayed in Cheyenne 5 times - no problems staying again, there are photos of the resort here https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...d.php?t=989117. We've stayed at SL a few times and loved it but still go to Cheyenne a first choice, and last week we stayed at Newport Bay but while the room was lovely we wouldn't pay extra to stay again as the hotel is constantly just so busy and to be honest the pleasant walk from Cheyenne is only a few more minutes, and since we last stayed there's a Starbucks there too.

We stayed at the Santa Fe last week and we were pleasantly surprised having never been before. We’ve done Davy Crockett, NPB, Cheyenne and HNY in the past and I actually preferred Santa Fe to the Cheyenne.

We stayed there last month , quite basic but the beds were comfy , shower was hot - we were hardly in the room . It was an easy walk along the river to the park , staff were helpful and although there is a Starbucks we took a travel kettle. I would stay there again for a short break
