I love my Pixel (I have the 3a) but it's more than you want to spend unless you get it refurbed. I would also be looking at Moto in the lower price bracket.

I got given a Samsung with work, was a reasonably expensive phone but it was bloody awful. I put the sim into a Nokia 3310 I bought to travel with many moons ago. Put me off from ever trying android again, awful thing, the Nokia is so much better 😂

I love my personal iPhone

The problem is Samsung phones, not Android, I have one of those for work and I agree it's awful

Went to android mainly for long battery life last main one was a note 9 great phone but when it did not integrate with my van properly with regret I went back to IPhone now I would. Not give this up IMHO far easier and intersgrates so much bette with my other tech. Just incredibly overpriced but I guess they can charge this as people still buy them

I have had many Samsung phones and found them to be so much better than any other phone android or even Apple crud.
Just changed from a galaxy s20 ultra to a z fold 3.
Nothing comes close to it

DS has a Pixel and then DH copied when his previous Huwei was getting upgraded. I'm considering one for my upgrade as it appears quite small.

Currently have Nokia 7 and loved it initially but a few updates recently has caused problems.

Can you go on EE or Car Phone Warehouse and use their phone matching type options and see what it recommends? You can then shop round for the correct price elsewhere.

for under £200, id be looking at whatever the latest nokia is at that price point. alternatively, you can probably pick up a refurbished pixel 4/4a/5 for around that price

i have a xioami redmi note 10 5g thats 3 months old that i'm selling for £125 if your interested, dm me (its £180ish new) - its a great phone, but the camera isnt as good as i wanted, so stumped up for the pixel 6 pro last month...

*edit*
this nokia is a little above budget but very well specced for the price. and theres returns "used - very good" in amazon warehouse for £180ish..

I have a top of the range (then) Xiaomi - it is excellent and £200 cheaper than the equivalent Samsung
