Disney 2 or 3 day cruise from Liverpool
I am waiting to hear about this - availability, cost, date, etc.
DH and I have done a fair amount of cruising but never with DCL. This time we have to consider our then to be 15yo grandson. Will there be anything to keep him interested? He spends ALL his free time on his Xbox. 😬 |

DCL is brilliant for older kids too! They have a hub segregated for different ages where they can chill/play video games with others etc.

If he just wants video games, the Vibe (youth area for his age group) has them. But the counsellors also try to get the young ones engaged with physical activity (murder ball, basketball etc on top deck). Post covid, no idea if this would happen, but they do encourage team play which he may or may not want to join in with (up to him).
I would definitely recommend going to Vibe on the first day with him, or sending him on his own ... any others of that age group will hopefully do the same and he can make a few mates.

Thank you. That sounds more hopeful than I was feeling. It’s all down to cost now. 🤔

My son has cruised regularly between the ages of 13 and 18 and has always had a blast including on the Disney magic where he celebrated his 18th in 2019. He always makes loads of friends and we hardly see him!

Thanks for posting the Liverpool dates. I saw them yesterday but when I went back later to look again they’d gone? Thought it was me imagining it haha.

I've started mooting this to DH today for a taster of a Disney cruise, think I may be winning him round 😃.
We are half an hour's drive from Liverpool docks it would be exciting to board a Disney cruise so close to home. We've only done one cruise before with P&O to Norway and the fjords. P&O wasn't really for us although we loved the ports we sailed to. We just had a discussion on what would be an ok price for a two or three night cruise from Liverpool on the Magic. I'm hoping the price matches what we'd be happy to pay and that there is availability.
