Not feeling well and can’t see GP yet. Is it worth bothering 111 or has anyone experienced the same?

Sunday I developed a headache and sinus pain towards the end of the day. No energy at all. Couldn’t enjoy my usual walk.

Monday woke up with same headache. Lots of pressure in head and sinus. No cold symptoms though e.g no snotty nose etc. Just pain.
Energy zapped through the day. Ended up laying down. Gradually every joint became inflamed and painful. ‘Twangs’ or tiny sharp bursts of pain through chest, arms, back of legs etc. Went to bed.

Woke up today absolutely fine. Around lunchtime felt the pressure build in my head and sinus. Energy seeped away quickly. Tried to sleep. Joints have inflamed again and pains started back up.

I’ve done two lateral flows. Negative.

I have never felt worse.

Can’t get appoint with GP or even phone call. Thinking of out of hours, but would rather someone say ‘oh I’ve had that!’ It’s a little scary as I’ve never experienced anything like it and I’m 41, so young(ish) and healthy.

I’ve been like it since Thursday I think?
I have brief moments of thinking I feel better and then feel awful half an hour later.
I’ve had a PCR as I had chest pains and a cough but it was negative.
I think mine is a combination of a UC flare which explains my joint pain, a migraine and hayfever all at once along with possible hormonal changes.
It’s definitely worth you getting advice I think and maybe a PCR.
I know a few people lately who have tested negative on LFTs but positive on PCRs

Sounds like you need to go and get a PCR test. Very similar symptoms that a lot of people have recently had with COVID.

I think Lateral flows only work if you don't have symptoms? Best get a PCR

I would get a PCR test, then if that is negative and you are still feeling rough either contact your doctor and see if they can prescribe something or go to a walk in center
