My first one was due to run out in February next year so I renewed online earlier this year. No issues.

It's random, some people are selected to renew online only, some with zoom interview and some in person I'm afraid.

There is no minimum age requirement for Global Entry. However, if you are under the age of 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s consent to participate in the program. Your parent or legal guardian does not have to be a Global Entry member.

Regardless of your age, you must create a Global Online Enrollment System account, pay a $100 non-refundable application fee, and schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present at time of interview.

We are bringing our grandson on our next trip and we’re hoping to apply ourselves. If we are approved would we have to do regular queue or can he come with us ? His mum isn’t coming otherwise we would apply for him as well or can she give permission?

Just worth mentioning that you can get TSA approved without having GE. We’ve had it on at least the last 5 trips - I assume because we are frequent travellers?

Everyone has to have GE so if your grandson didn't, you would have to join the regular queue.

Hey, this is something we talked about doing on our next trip. Does the interview take long? We’re going with my parents (who won’t be signing up to GE) so we didn’t want them to be waiting ages for us 👀🤣

We were once going to apply for it but I was put off when someone on here said that if by some remote chance you were turned down for it, you'd no longer be eligible for an Esta,not sure if this is still the case🤔
