Depends where you are going. In Palma, most restaurants and hotels are open year-round.

Outside Palma in the resort areas, many hotels and restaurants close for the winter around the end of October / start of November. There will always be some places that stay open to cater for local residents, but definitely far fewer than in summer.

The weather is reasonable enough without being proper heat. Can get up to around 20 Celsius daytime, about half that at night on average. Might be a bit cold for sunbathing / swimming (depending how hardy you are), but often daytime t-shirt weather. Rains a bit, but not too bad, no worse than Sep/Oct really. Jan and Feb are generally the coldest months in Mallorca.

Thank you , I’ve booked today . We would just like to do beach walks , go up into the mountain and just so basic r&r . Managed to get half board so that’s a bonus as we can still have lunch out and about .
