They’ve said proof of negative covid test. Pcr or lateral flow.

As with others on this thread, we are out here at the moment.

So how do the government expect us to get an approved test and demonstrate we are negative?

Last holiday we purchased from Chronomics and uploaded the result in advance of flight home, not really an option here.

I could go to CVS and buy a test but no way to prove anything prior to the flight.

How does it work, do you need a code again from a uk provider and upload a photo etc?

Jeezo! Just got over the stress of getting our negative tests for going and the stress of these past two weeks, I was a bit worried I wouldn’t have anything to worry myself silly with over the next fortnight while we’re over there 🤬

Am ok with insurance covering. I wasn’t sure if a hotel would let us knowing we were positive. Could find the 10 days anywhere, so it’s the same as here then.

I am guessing I can use a breathe assured supervised LFT for this. Good job I have spare to hand after the change this time last week to PCR!

Not sure how the government expect the travel industry to survive, these are the rules that almost destroyed them earlier in the year. I might be ruled out AGAIN if this is still in effect in February, I can’t take the risk of being stuck abroad and the worry of the test for the whole holiday would ruin it anyway.
