Yes they do the NYC flights from Leeds from late October.
Let’s hope they do MAN to MCO, that would be great. Good to see such a local company doing so well.

I’ve heard they are currently purchasing some of the larger Airbus to be based in Manchester.
Can’t confirm or deny anything else but ...

Jet2 do fly long haul to NY at certain times of the year. And it would be nice if they did fly to Orlando.
However, Thomas Cook flew to various destinations, most of which were short haul destinations - they didn’t just fly to Orlando. And the slots that Jet2 bought can be used for flying anywhere. Therefore I suspect the slots will most likely be used to increase Jet2’s current business and be used for short haul destinations.

I don't think jet2 will venture into full time long haul. They stick to what they generally know and do a good job at it. They don't have the aircraft at the minute either. I know they are getting up to 3 x a330s but that's for the short haul market, due to slot restrictions in Europe.. Who knows whats coming, but I very much doubt they'll expand into long haul.

Jet2 next year will have at least 7 additional A321s and at least 2 additional A330s. The A321s will be doing European flights. Where the additional A330s will be going is anyones guess at the moment.
IF Jet2 are planning to fill the TC gap then nothing is likely to he announced until they have managed to get some rooms in good hotels and maybe Disney first as they primarily sell holidays not just flights.

My friends son was a pilot on Thomas Cook and now has been taken on by Jet2. He flew long haul with TC and was asked if this would be something he was still interested in doing at a later date. Apparently they're looking to buy up some of the planes. So watch this space...

I could have sworn I saw adverts for Jet2 flying to Orlando from Stansted last year.

If they start doing longhaul then it will be interesting to see if they can be successful with it.
