When I stayed in Beach Club in September fireworks went off at midnight in Epcot several nights when I was trying to sleep. They were testing the new show. No fun.

We didn’t find that the case. In fact MK was fairly quiet most days, MVMCP was much busier!

I agree , too many people haven’t seen HEA yet so they flock in now.

We were here 2 years ago at the same time.
The crowds this year are so much worse. Not just MK but all parks are busy. We were in AK on Saturday and you couldn’t move. FOP was 210 minutes at 9 am and the first FOLK show queuing all the way toward the Up show.
We are hoping that the crowds may reduce from now on but I’m not seeing many people checking out yet.
We have been doing alternative things like the GF gingerbread house, resort hopping and going on the skyliner.

MVMCP itself might be busier.

However, the morning and afternoon on an MVMCP day (i.e. before the party itself) will generally be quieter than the morning and afternoon on an non-MVMCP day.

Monday 11th (an MVMCP day) was quieter and had shorter queues than Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th (non-MVMCP days) which were busy. At least according to the wait times here on the DIBB.

We were at Busch Gardens yesterday and it was very quiet. 5 and 10 minute queues for the bigger rides.
SeaWorld on Saturday was busier. I think the locals were making the most of the weekend as it was a long weekend and maybe not venturing out so much on the Monday?

IoA was really quiet today (Hagrid the longest queue at 30 mins) but an employee told me that come Saturday it would be crazy with the holiday season starting.
