I love love love Festival of the Lion King, I was so excited when we were on our honeymoon and I’d planned a day at AK on opening day in the current theatre.
When we went in 2018 with our them 3 year old, we watched it twice, on 2 separate visits. For the first show, we got some Disney magic when a CM took us to the front row seating in the Giraffe section. My daughter was mesmerised for the whole 20 minutes of the show, I was just so excited to get an uninterrupted view, as it is my favourite show in WDW. I got some absolutely fabulous pictures. For the 2nd show we were in the Warthog section at the back, but I still enjoyed it. Come to think of it, I don’t think we’ve ever been a Lion or Elephant, and we’ve watched several times.

We did the Tier 1 package on our last trip and it was fantastic. We had a front row seat for the show. We were so close to the performers that we felt part of the show itself. On the safari it was just my daughter and I, an American couple and their mother's. We learnt lots of interesting facts whilst going round. Tiffins was lovely and the food delicious. We paid OOP but it was very good value for money. Going to do it again on our next trip.

I love the festival of the lion king, it’s my favourite show on site. When my twins were little they were picked to dance round with tambourines at the end and it was lovely.

We have just come back having done this. It was all amazing. Be careful though we bought this package in August 2019 and so when the bill came out at Tiffins I just left the tip. The waiter came back and asked for full payment as it did not show we had paid, so we ended up paying again for it and then sorting it out the following day. We were lucky in that had the money on a cc to do this but it was annoying and embarrassing.
As there was just 2 of us we had front row at FOLK and it really does feel like you are part of it. |

We did the Tier 2 FOLK package. Well worth it.
Tiffins is the best restaurant in AK. |
