Mobile Nintendo switch easy super mario game

My youngest is 6 and wants an Nintendo switch for Christmas. He loves minecraft so I will get him that game for it but he wants a super mario game. Some of these games are difficult and he gets upset & frustrated if he can’t do something so I want an easy game for him.
Any suggestions?

Any other easy games too or just super mario
No point in family games as we all hate consoles etc

I would recommend Lego games, Lego Jurassic world would be great as you can't "die" in them so you won't need to go back to the start of the level, you just come back where you left off. It is also a 2 player so you can jump in and help if he gets a little stuck and player 2 can leave at any time without disturbing player 1. Have a look at you tube videos to give you an idea.
Mario Odyssey can get quite challenging, my 15 yr old can't complete it. There's also Mario Kart which is great fun.

For Mario Kart would you recommend the wheel things you can attach to the controls or do you not need them?

Also, is Mario & Rabbids kingdom easy? (He watches rabbids on YouTube)

Super Mario Odyssey starts off simple and gets harder as you progress. This is the general rule of thumb for most video games. The difficulty curve is gentle, but it will get harder towards the end.

Luigi's Mansion 3 comes out in a few days time. I've no idea what the difficulty will be but if similar to previous installments it will follow the same trend as above.

If he has completed or even gotten to the later stages of Minecraft on survival mode then he will be fine, but if he only plays on creative then I cant say what would be appropriate in regard to difficulty. Are there any other games that he does play so i can give you better advice?

Feel free to PM me, both the wife and I are big video game fans so hopefully I can help!
