Not posted in a while but planning our second visit, this time end of dec so we will be there for xmas & new year.

Any recommendation on who to book with? Ideally fly from Glasgow but will travel within reason.

Looking to stay onsite with maybe a stay at universal as well.

Wanting to book up asap but would need to pay up rather than cover it all at once.

I would book the hotel direct with Disney. I would use an engine like sky scanner to research flight prices and then book that directly too. Although if you only want to pay a deposit on the flights too, you could include that on the Disney booking.

You are a bit too early for flights though, so would leave it a month, or book the accommodation with Disney now and then call back when flights are released.

It’s a pity the free dining offer has ended now but you might get the free nights offer via Disney.

It isn’t a pity, it is good for the OP.

There is never free dining offered for December stays, so it is better for OP to book during the free nights offer. And I say this as somebody who booked December when free dining offer was on..

I am sure my friend has booked 16th December 2020 for a week onsite with free Disney dining plus the $200 gift card

BA have got some decent prices at the moment (sale fares), if you book flights and hotel it's a £400 deposit. Alternatively VH at £175 a person, they've got a sale on but you still have to time it right. I'm with VH and am happy with the price I've paid, surprisingly less than if I price things up separately. The only way I'd have beaten the price I'm paying is if I managed to snag a reward flight which I wouldn't have got anyway as I don't have enough points for my preferred cabin.

What dates in December are you getting those prices for? Thanks

I’m going 3 December, am also using my frequent virgin discount. The following week my chosen hotel is cheaper but I’m restricted on dates. Also, I booked over the phone and the price was cheaper than shown online.

A bit too early for us. We are looking at going around the 15th/16th December. We have enough BA Avios to use or Virgin miles so trying to be patient until both options are available. We did price up VH flydrive with our Frequent Flyer discount but I think it’s probably a little overpriced so I need to be patient
