Sleigh bells ring, are you listening... Day 7, New Years Eve

We’re up at 6 as usual. This morning we had Cinnamon buns for breakfast, you know the sort, you buy them in a tube and pop them open and cook yourself.

We leave early and head to Walmart, we return a rug and some paint we bought the other day, this takes forever!

Next up the 27 to Clermont again, first stop Home Depot for a new pool filter, $90.

Panera Bread for a coffee which we drink sitting in the sun.

At Home is next, we have a list!😳

We spend quite a bit of time just browsing, we choose a big picture for our formal lounge wall, a new clock and a window dressing for the Nook window.

We head home and hang the picture, I sort the window dressing.

Cheese and ham sarnies for lunch.

After lunch we’re off to Walmart, again! We buy different paint, table mats and a 32 inch tv for the front bedroom to go with the new furniture.

Back home and we get that all set up.

Richard sorts me out some paint and rollers etc, I’m painting the hall. He potters about doing odd jobs.

Tonight we’re off to Sanaa at AKL with our opposite neighbours, Donna and Jim, they live in Ireland but we meet up every Christmas. We had 2 spare spaces for our meal because Jane and Chris had to cancel. We leave at 6.20, our table is 7.10 but we know the 192 is going to be hell.

We’re given a pager, I hate this when I have a reservation! It’s only about a 10 minute wait so we hunt for animals but don’t see any.

Donna and I have Raspberry Mojito, Richard has a normal one and Jim drinks water.

We share the bread service with a Donna while Jim has an oxtail dish which he says is amazing.

I have Butter chicken and Lentil Dahl, Richard has butter chicken and Aloo Masala. Donna has lamb and Jim has salmon, all are amazing.

Our bill for the 4 of us $202, so worth it!

We wander outside and see a giraffe in the dark!

Off home and the traffic is bad as expected. We’re in bed by 11, there’s lots of fireworks. The fireworks at midnight wake us up but we just go back to sleep!

Selina. Another busy day, do you Guys never chill out.

The decoration and improvements are really looking nice, well done.

Sanna is one of the very few places in Disney we will still use. However we tend to eat at the big table by the bar and cancel our reservation as soon as we arrive if that table is empty. Your food looked very nice.
