Festival of the lion king dining package

I read this thread earlier and I decided to swap my Tiffins ROL package to Tiffins Lion King package. I booked Tier 2 [ackage as I understood that it accepted dining plans, however during the booking process and on my confirmation email, it says dining plans are not accepted.

Is that correct?

In the description it says 'This Dining Package is Disney Dining Plan eligible. '

We booked and used DDP TS 2 in August.

If I make a dummy booking now it says 'Select Disney Dining Plans Not Accepted' maybe they mean QSDP is not accepted.

If you want to make sure it is still 2TS I would call them to double check.

How does paying for it work? Is the $99 including the meal or do you pay extra for it?

Yes I saw that in the description, but as I went through the booking I saw the above about select Disney dining plans not being available and then when I got my confirmation email it said that it did not participate in a dining plan. I guess I will need to ring.

Yes something is not quite right. I think it is just a mistake on the confirmation email.
I have not seen any news to say it is not on the DDP.
Call them as it would be a costly meal otherwise if there has been changes.

Hopefully have the tier 2 booked for May. Would still expect to pay a gratuity though.

We did tier 2 last August on DDP (2 credits). Tiffins was good, although found the appetizers selection limited, indeed DW and DD did end up having one. Lovely restaurant but was spoilt a bit by a big party next to us whose sole aim, it would seem, was to throw as much food on the floor and make as much mess as possible. The server seemed horrified and when they left I mouthed to him "thank God" to which he winked at me. Then took about 6 people to clear up!
