Mobile Recommendation for a good low cost tumble dryer

It's for my sons flat. I don't want him to get a second hand one due to fire risk etc.
I looked at Costco online and the cheapest is £349 which is a bit much.

Have you looked at AO? They're reasonably priced and quick to delivery x

We got a basic hotpoint last year and it's great. Our previous hotpoint one lasted us 17 years so we went for pretty much the same one, just a newer model. It just has a timer dial on it and a start button. No fancy programmes or anything.

Have a look at the condensing Beko dryer from AO.com. We have this one and it is great. Dries really quickly and is a real workhorse. I don't think I would even have an expensive brand after this one.

Our 2 year old candy condenser dryer packed in at the weekend 🤬. The so called 10 year parts warranty wasn’t worth the paper it was written on! Big pile of junk... so don’t get one of those lol. 😂

Just bought a beko condenser dryer from AO, I think it was £280 as it’s a 9kg one. Only had it a day, but so far loving it. Dries really quick, is pretty quiet and looks good for a dryer.

I have a cheapie White Knight dryer. They sell them in Argos. I have had it so long I can’t actually remember, it must be 20 years old. I also have a washer drier, I have only used the drier a handful of times, I prefer the old one I keep in the garage.

They've gone out of business. Mine like yours lasted for years, I think it cost about £75.

Oh no Sorry I didn’t realise. ! I have probably jinxed mine now saying how long I have had it !

Edited - I wonder if another company has bought the name as they are still on sale in Argos online.
