I think usually end June/July. I think sometimes they do early bird tickets but if you end up going a weekday in September then they are quite often discounted nearer the date as well.

Got a very happy DD who has wanted to do HHN for a few years and we have 6 dates during our universal stay, just need the multi day tickets to come out now.

the lights on tours and VIP tours are available to buy on the universal website now.
