I didn't either Have to say though the Pirate and Princess Wishes was amazing and on a par if not ever so slightly better than Wishes.

Gutted... Spectromagic is my all time fav thing from WDW! It brings back memories from our first ever trip in 1996. I even have the CD at home!
I love Wishes too..but won't miss it as much!

Hope the Main ST Electrical Parade is just as good!

Sad is it might be to see these shows go, all things have to change eventually and I'm sure whatever replaces it will be even better. I look forward to seeing fresh new shows with something new to say 'Wow' to.

ELP knocks the sock off Spectromagic in my opinion.

Unless I'm reading it wrong. These changes are only for the Summer of 2010 probably Disney's way of offering something different from what they've been doing for years.
Why, Because Harry Potter World will be opening at Universal IOA.

The new Fantasyland changes wont be available until next year so Disney are obviously desperate to keep people in their parks, this is obviously a way of doing it without spending much money.

Although it is due to change back after August to Wishes and Spectromagic again, I bet Disney will be testing customer reaction to the changed shows and if reaction is good they may stick around longer.

I wonder if they are testing guest reactions ready for a permanent change for the 40th birthday next year.
