Thanks for the reply N52939, I think someone said today’s flight had been cancelled until tomorrow, so maybe they are going to combine both flight hence the 747.

We drove past Glasgow airport yesterday and I noticed the wamos aeroplane sat airside... It was HUGE!

hopefully as a 747 it will be typically used on longer haul journeys and have ife.

From the TC website, the return flight MCO-GLA has been delayed almost 24 hours, so looks like they must have another aircraft for tomorrows GLA-MCO. Guess we will find out for sure tomorrow.

Looks like the Monday flight will be operated by a Thomas Cook aircraft OY-VKI.

The 'Sunday' flight back to Glasgow will be the Wamos 747, it looks like they only have one crew and have had to wait until the crew had thier rest before bring the flight back. What an utter shambles !

The Wamos 747 was supposed to operate the Cancun flight on Saturday from Glasgow but it was broken so it looks like they sent the Thomas Cook plane to Cancun on Sunday instead, swapping Orlando onto the Wamos.
