Same here we have only taken all of what you have already mentioned and worked fine. I would just add maybe some child specific headphones that will fit and don't go to loud.

Just be aware when taking Play Doh it’ll be opened and tested for Semtex as you go through security.

We took the colour wonder books with the special pens that only show up on the page (and not all over the seat!)
We also took the magic paint books that only work when you “paint” water on them. Just used a small cup with water in it from the lunch.
Kids thought it was great, and virtually no mess - unless they knock the water over!
