April here again...looking over these photos I would have a hard time thinking of a place where I could feel happier...it was great to think that this was just our FIRST morning here on Sanibel.

And don’t we look excited?

Casa Ybel has handy shell-washing stations (so you don’t bring sand into the units):

This reminds me of the book The Shell Collector by Hugh Howey.
Have you read it?
I have it as a PDF if you'd like it. It may not be your thing though, so I won't be offended if not

I've taken that too.
Can't remember what I was, but do remember being very worried that they might see my results and escort me out the building for not being a 'good fit' or something

Yes! I remember these! The BF and I spent a lovely day strolling around central London finding these. I agree they do look 'odd' though.
There's still one outside Weymouth train station in Dorset as the Olympic sailing was held there (in Weymouth, not outside the station).
They did Shaun The Sheep statues a while ago in London and Bristol that were really fun to hunt down, with an app that bleated as you got near and found one.

They look REALLY good! Well done.
I've been trying to convince the BF that chicken & waffles is a 'thing' He doesn't believe me. We're going to ESPN on our first day and I shall be vindicated! Hurrah!

Really enjoying this part of the trip. Sanibel looks beautiful. Not somewhere I would have ever considered, but now I think it could be perfect for a mid holiday break away from the Orlando hustle and bustle.

It's funny you should suggest a Hugh Howey novel - I was just looking at my copy of "Wool" and debating whether or not to take it for a long journey I have coming up. But I see that "The Shell Collector" is available on Kindle Unlimited - perhaps I'll read that one first. "Wool" is...rather large.

Many thanks for the recommendation!

And I'm very nosy as to what would have made you a bad fit! Find those results and check back with us later. I mentioned in the trippie that I'd never met another INTJ woman - but over the next couple of posts we discovered that there are SEVEN of us just posting in this TR. We have rather a remarkable amount in common - perhaps you're "one of us", too...

Oh, we'll have to get down to Weymouth to "collect" that sculpture one day. I never heard about the Shaun the Sheep ones, though - and that would have been right up my street (and the baa-ing - precious!). I've done guitars in Nashville, cows in Chicago and Snoopy(s) in Saint Paul, though!

Chicken and waffles = gorgeous. You can even get Darth Vader-themed chicken and waffles at DHS. I'm guessing the ones at the ESPN Club are better - but it would be hard for me not to want to order DARTH VADER WAFFLES.

At home I make them a couple of times a year. I have to be careful, though - as I will eat the cream gravy right out of the saucepan. I have no willpower, sigh.

And Sanibel is just perfect for us. But it's a good 3.5-4 hours each way in the car - which (understandably) puts some people off. And it's definitely not a "hopping" place at night. Next on my list is Caladesi Island - you may want to look into that one, too. (Dibber) anji has been there a few times...

Thanks for visiting Sanibel with us -

Oh, nothing in particular, just maybe i'd come up as certifiable or something, hahaha.
I can't find the original gumpf I got given, but just did the test online and came up as ESFJ! Guardians of birthdays, holidays and celebrations apparently, makes sense as first thing I do with a new diary or calendar is enter all the birthdays (and bank holidays).
I'm also a Hufflepuff.

It was really fun, they did trails in London and Bristol (where Aardman Animation are based) and then all of them in Covent Garden for a week, so I was able to complete the set.

I believe they are thinking about doing a similar style trail type event with Morph statues.

I feel like ANY chicken and waffles would be good, i'll be keeping an eye out for them!

Thanks for sharing your trip with us

Ah...an "E"! There are VERY, VERY few "E"s in this thread - but starstruck (Jue) is an ESFJ, too. Keep an eye out for her.

...and HEMANCLOFTY's a Hufflepuff. As is HelenJNT.

Morph, eh? I think we'll give that one a miss - none of us have ever seen it!

But the sheep - so cute!

...and you are most welcome - it's fun to relive it.

PS: The calendar thing is a "J" trait - every New Year's Day, I unwrap my new calendar and write everybody's birthday in it - and then I mark the dates I have to mail the cards, lol.
