I always worry about the weather too ( especially after spending so much money). You will be fine - forecast is for sun and some showers which is normal for summer😀

Just to echo what others have said.
The rain in Florida is part of the fun - mostly at any rate. Yes it's a pain in the backside when they close the outdoor rides due to thunderstorms. But the rain, when it comes is absolutely torrential. Then it usually stops within a few minutes. half an hour later it looks like it didn't rain as everything (apart from your trainers - top top, pack a spare pair) is dry.
When I first went in 1992, the place was a sea of yellow disney ponchos. (anyone else miss those). For practical reasons they're clear now. presumably so you can recognise the rest of your party.

The rain won't spoil your holiday unless you let it. It's a part of life in Orlando in the summer months.
In all honesty, I'd feel like I was missing out on that if I went at a different time of year,
Embracing the squelchy footwear and a bit of respite from 100 + Fahrenheit is part of the experience.

Just be prepared to go inside if it rains, because when it rains it rains but you would be very unlucky for it to be so bad it will ruin your holiday
Have a great time

I’ve been out here the last 2 weeks. The first week there was barely a drop of rain. 2nd week there has been some. The usual brief shower in the afternoon apart from the weekend when it was fairly stormy for most of it. It’s standard Florida weather. It won’t ruin your holiday.

Just got cleared from the pool due to a storm coming (the clouds were black). It was very windy as we walked to the room. Got up to the room and looked out and it was bucketing it down with some of the loudest thunder I’ve heard in years out here. 10 mins later there’s no wind, no rain and the blue sky is coming.
This is the standard out here. You could go anywhere in the world and get bad weather,
It’ll always be better than home!

In the days leading up to my trip last September there was heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast for the whole fortnight. In the end there were no thunderstorms and just one afternoon where there were 2 hours of rain. It was too hot really - the CMs I got chatting to said the temperatures were more like August not late September. I changed some of my plans to suit it.

As others have said, ignore most of the forecasts as it is so localised and you are near the tropics so it will rain somewhere in Orlando most days especially in summer. I think you would be very unlucky at this time of year to get a full day of rain let alone a whole holiday. It does rain most days but you get used to it and you will learn to watch for the black clouds to decide what to do, but usually only lasts a couple of hours max.
