US/IOA off site, what time did you arrive AM Sept?
Hi
Not long until we go, if anyone has just come back or is still in Orlando and have visited US/IOA in the past week, can you advise if you stayed off site, what time did you get to US for gringotts and what was the wait time like? We are thinking about getting there for opening, will check times the night before we go. There are no children in our party so not bothered about queuing, but not for too long. Also do you think it is worth getting the express pass, for one of our days, we will be riding the majority of the rides as we like full days in the parks, we are visiting on a Monday, Friday and then a Tuesday, we will do a day at each park and then a day doing both, really like Universal Parks. Thank you very much. Tracy |

I haven't been yet but there is an app on the iTunes Store that gives you live wait times one for disney the other for us/ioa.
I've been checking the wait times everyday yesterday was quiet, griingotts was only 30 minutes and the forbidden journey was 20. Hope this helps have a good trip xxxx |

We are here now and on our first day we got to the parks at opening (9am) gringotts queue was about 5 minutes and only went as high as 20. Not sure what it's like now but we are there again on Wednesday

We always go for opening. When FJ opened we would go for park opening and head straight there and the queue time was around 10 mins when we got there and about an hour by the time we got off. Gringotts seems different though but I'd still go for park opening.

We have just got back this weekend, we stayed offsite and did very similar to your plan, we did HP stuff in both parks as a separate day and did a whole day in each park. We arrived pretty much at opening time and as people have already said no problem getting on Gringotts, times were from 15 mins to 40 while we were there.
On first day at universal 3rd Sept, we were given 3 fast passes by some people staying onsite who had been waiting for gringotts when it broke down, so we did it straight away. IMO i would not get express passes, no wait longer than 20 mins for any ride for us, and so long as you get there early and do all the stuff you want first wont need them. Would advise getting most things done AM as rain seems to last longer now and some days went on for hours. Edited at 09:51 AM. |

Went a few days ago and waited about 20 mins for gringotts, 10 for the train and fj was a walk on. We are staying off site and arrived at half 10 ish. The longest queue was for the minion ride. Waited 25 mins.
