BA booking and AA connection online check-in

Hi Everyone,

We fly in October my booking and first flight is with BA but the connection from Miami to Orlando is with AA so when I do online check in for the BA flight to Miami can I check in for that flight to Orlando also or do I have to go on the AA site and do that seperate it is all on the same e-ticket and what about the same the other way round do I check in on BA site for the AA flight from Orlando to Miami or check in on AA's site for that flight? and BA for the Miami to LHR flight, I booked the whole trip with BA?

I fly BA/AA combos all the time. You will need to check in the AA segment and vice versa, get the AA app, pretty simple but they do have a seperate booking reference (the 6 digit), BA give you this in the "manage your booking" element - when you go in the BA app for "choose seats" you get a nag saying "this is your AA booking reference" and it redirects to the AA site.

Don't fret, it's pretty ok. You'll find your BA bookings show in the AA app also.
