There are a few ways to do this.
If you book a WDW room with them then you can add flights on when they come out at the eleven month mark. You will pay only a deposit on both the room and then on the flight with the balance due around eight weeks before. Done this twice. BA will let you book a flydrive with a deposit from around eleven months out but the drive part means you needs to book a car which then turns it into a package meaning you can just pay a deposit - we did this last year. Think you can do the same thing with Virgin too but haven't done that. Some people have also had some success with Thomas Cook but this seems to vary from store to store. Good luck

BA Flydrive prices are very competitive and sometimes even cheaper than flight only, so definitely worth a look if you want the deposit option.

My Thomas Cook store let me book flights with deposit only. They put it through as a fly drive and removed the car from the booking.
The T&C's state it's a package that I can cancel at any time with loss of deposit and then more financial penalty as time goes on. xx

What are the implications of booking a flydrive and not collecting the car, does anyone know? Is this common? We don't drive, but like the idea of deposit only as its less pressure to get the money together right before Christmas. Thanks

With BA, you can also book the cheapest hotel available for just 1 night; this will also turn it into a holiday needing payment of a deposit only with final balance due 5 weeks before departure.
No need to stay in the hotel. |

When I tried this, BA said the hotel would need to be for the duration for the holiday, in order to be able to book with a deposit only.

I can vouch for this.. Checked flights on their own with BA £1300 for 3 of us.. fly drive was £1200 and you can pay deposit and pay the rest off at a later date.
