3 wks, although we've only managed it once. Work commitments mean it's unlikely we can do it again.

probably about 10 days, after that I start to get twitchy and want to get back to 'normal' life.
I prefer to have frequent shorter holidays throughout the year rather than one long one. |

We do a minimum of 3 weeks because of the distance. 4 years ago we did 5 weeks as we had some banked leave. If I was being honest that was probably a bit long as we were ready for going home the last half week.

For a Disney/Florida holiday is have to say 3 weeks. For a European holiday 10 days.

If going to Florida I like in between 2 and 3 weeks, last year we did 18 days which was perfect, the kids were getting itchy feet and missing home by that point so I think that's enough for us. Next year will be between 16-18 days. If it's a beach holiday then I prefer 7-10 days, because I get bored of sitting around the pool and eating out every night, we're doing 2 weeks in Lanzarote this summer and I'm dreading it, wishing we booked 10 days instead but j hot talked into it by my brother in law!

3 weeks, for three main reasons:
1) it is very far, and with travek, recovery and a day for packing 2 weeks really only gives you 11 days which isn't enough. 2) Flights are expensive, but are the same price regardless of how long you stay for. Therefore linger stays are better value. 3) I start to feel like I have had long enough towards the end of the third week so a fourth week would be too long imo. Doing a split stay does help though. |

Would love to be able to spend 3 weeks in Florida but due to work commitments that's not possible, so it's just the 2 weeks until we retire! Although we have been for just a week in the past.
