Do park ticket companies ever have sales?

As the title...
We're looking for universal and seaworld tickets for 2018. Do ticket sales companies ever have sales?

Yes they do - they often email people telling them there is a sale coming up- so maybe sign up to some of their newsletters - such orlando attractions, attraction tickets etc

Orlando attractions are the cheapest for the flex ticket at the moment, £296 for an adult and around £317 elsewhere, doesn't sound a lot but every little helps when you're buying 8 of them! they also have the option of 'real' tickets or e-tickets.

AMH do you know if they have a cancellation protection option. Would go with them but would like protection on the tickets but can't see this anyway

Yes. Although they are the small (5%) price reduction to drum up a bit of business type of sale not the "end of season 50% off" type of sale. The times that these happen can be a bit random so you just have to keep an eye out.

FloridaEscapes had (has?) a sale this weekend. You can use the code 10OFF2018 to get £10 off of 2018 tickets.
