Feb 2021 Booking advise please

We were due to go with Thomas Cook in Feb 2020 but sadly couldn't find an affordable replacement. in the past we have been in October so i am really feeling the holiday blues today! October is an issue because of uni term times so i want to look into a trip for February half term in 2021 and ideally would like to get (surprise surprise!) the best possible deal. We have tended to go for apartment hotels like Floridays or vista cay but i would like to look at disney properties with dining plans - never done one of those and have seen in the past that at certain times the plans are "free" or billed as such? Am i right and if so could anyone advise about them, when/if they tend to become available? Basically any advise for getting best possible deal gratefully received!

free dining if offered is usually released mid april the year before, so april 2020 for 2021
this year availability has been dramatically reduced from previous years so no guanentees what will be available but I would wait & see as free dining is definitely worth having if staying onsite

Thanks v much!Being pessimistic i suppose the fall of Thomas Cook is bound to increase prices/reduce offers but we can live in hope.
