We don't own up to living near Slough as it is such a dump now, but has a lot of lovely countryside around certainly near where we live. Have two county parks and now a 6* hotel

I seem to remember there is a statue of the afore mentioned poet sitting on a bench at Slough station. I seem to remember he was far from complimentory about slough at times!
