Mobile Volcano Bay in January

We are looking to go end of Jan and we have never done water parks before but as the universal ticket includes VB we thought we might go there for one of our rest days rather than hang about the hotel pool etc.

Has anyone done water parks at this time of the year, and is the water heated etc?

I've been in Jan once before and seem to recall most days were t-shirt weather but just was cold of an evening.

Cheers

We do the waterparks in Jan and Feb, it’s usually warm enough, just pick a warmish day! Some days can still be 26 degrees! We went to Volcano Bay in January a couple of years ago, it was lovely just sitting in the wave pool chatting, the aqua coaster is cool too, we stayed on it as it was so quiet!

You can do water parks in jan but you do have to play it by ear one day can be 13 degrees the next day can be 30. I went in jan 2017 and most days were around 25.

Thanks guys.

Do they heard the water then or is it just always warm due to the climate?

We are planing to go in Feb- I think we'll pick our day once there but prob aim to do the rides then head back rather than lounge/sunbath- Has anyone gone to early morning opening in the cold months- We usually try to get there early but wondering if that early it will be too cold
