We were there in nov 2 years ago and the qs at universal were non existent. We had both parks done by 5pm! We went on a weekday too.

We were there 2012 1st week of November and staying on site at RPR. Did HP first thing to get it out of the way and then, to be truthful, the fastpass was not needed much at all. It was a different story in August last year and we were grateful for the FOL passes.

I honestly think that the expansion will make a huge difference this November, I've read that when the first Harry Potter area opened the parks were very busy every day for months and months.

We're going this October and I've booked 2 nights onsite, I know the fastpasses aren't for the HP areas anyway but at least if we can get on all the other stuff without waiting long we won't then mind queuing a bit for the HP areas.
