DC Cabana or Universal hotel for 1 night
Basically as the title suggests we want to add either a cabana at discovery cove or a nights stay at lowes Pacific for the express passes we are only doing one full day at universal but the cost of the hotel is less than buying express passes for the four of us and I think we may needed express passes for the time of year we are going (end aug) we have only ever been September, but we have always had a cabana at dc and worry we will miss this and I really any want to book both. What would you do?

Definitely the hotel, don’t see the point paying for a day at discovery cove and spending most of it in a cabana. Unless you don’t like the water.

We have been to DC twice and didn't have a Cabana and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
I would go with the 1 night at Universal with the express passes.

We have done both and although I loved the Cabana as a place to chill and sit, didnt spend that much time in it..much more benefit to the FOP and night in Universal

100% hotel. There is so much to do at DC that I. like others have said wouldn't deem it as worth the money when considering the amount of use it will get. Just think of the amount of time you will save using your universal passes and you get a nice night in the hotel close to the parks as well :-)

Another vote for the hotel. remember you can use your passes on 2 days, so you could spend a few hours in the park before leaving if you wanted.
Discovery Cove, we were always off doing things anyway, a cabana would have been a waste for us |
