Yep, we have the Barclays travel pack too and can’t fault their insurance. Had to claim a couple of times. They are not covering you for cancellation but will cover medical costs if you get COVID. Tbh you shouldn’t be using insurance for cancellations anyway, it should be the company of through whatever card you used to pay it.

Not if you booked your Virgin flights through Netflights or a third party apparently

I want to know this too, I’ve tried messaging them but no reply.
We are transferring our deposit with ATD to universal tickets and hoping to book directly with WDW for the stay, they have said we can amend if any offers become available, just waiting to see if we will be insured to travel!

So, just called Barclays and got straight through. For clarity any future trips, not booked before cut off date in March, will be covered for COVID medical whilst on holiday but not for expenses associated with cancellation.

Good to know

Could you explain this? They made no mention of that all to us. They said we would be covered for any medical costs, just not cancellation. Not sure why who you booked through would change this?

Sorry I think I misinterpreted what you were saying. I was referring to section 75 and claiming via the payment method rather than through travel insurance. If it’s say a VA flight purchased via Netflights that wouldn’t work and you would then need to revert to insurance after all.

I’d just add Barclays we’re excellent With us too when we were left stranded at Gatwick airport last year the night before Dorian hit.
