Booked flights for aug 2017 advice on car hire and villa
Hi Dibbers,
Just booked flights for next year Newcastle via Dublin to Orlando 10th August till 31st August, two kids tqwo adults only £2236 thought that was good. Aer Limgus. Although last night it was over £3k and went down this morning again so booked staright away! We went for the first time two years ago twin boys loved it so decided after spain this year to splash out next year before boys go to high school. Doing it ourselves to save mony this year loking at advic on car hire and villas, best place to go. On car hire we used Alamao Brits last time which were spot on it was only £265 for Mid Size SUV two weeks although that was easter for three weeks this year £962 owch! Did like using fast kiosk so no hassling for insurance at desk. Anyone use different and had good service and no hassling? We actually got free upgrade to Full Size SUV so very lucky last time. Villa looking for three or four bed with pool and spa/hot tub, games room somewhere like Davenport or similar. Or near Orange lake where we stayed last time. Also has anyone had experince of Dublin four hour stop off, is there plenty to do in airport? Any advice greatly appreciated. Phil |

I will pick up on the car hire bit.
Brits is very expensive for that period, supply and demand! Go 10 days later and for a Month and it's a lot cheaper than your quote. I wouldn't stress about the car yet and would start monitoring the usual suspects. You know about Brits, keep an eye on Virgin Atlantic who use Alamo, uscarhire and usrentacar etc Netflights have had good prices lately for a car as well.

Car hire for next year seems so high, massive increase from this year. We have booked a fly drive so can't help with the car hire.
We booked a lovely villa via Homeaway or try a dibb villa request on here

The usual ones for villas are Dibb ! Owners Direct, Holiday Lettings or Homeaway - make sure there are reviews that are current and try to have a conversation with the owners. Happy hunting

We stayed in a 3 bed villa on Hampton Lakes, Davenport this August, it was lovely can't recommend it enough, if we are lucky enough to go back I would hesitate to stay there. The owners have a website, think it's bevs-villa but the villa is called villa Amanda.
Hope you have a great trip |
